The GMC Yukon

This SUV is spacious, reliable, and great for a variety of families. 

The Hyundai Tucson 

Suppose you’re looking for a used SUV that also cares about emissions; you’ll want to check out the compact Hyundai Tucson. It has a base gas engine, but its better options are a hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrain. Its standard 2.5L I-4 engine gets 187 hp and 178 lb-ft of torque, but an upgrade in trim level begets the HEV or PHEV powertrains, which both offer great power and high performance with an increase in fuel economy figures for longer drives without having to recharge or refuel. 

The 1.6L Turbo HEV makes 226 hp, 195 lb-ft of torque, and 38 MPG combined in AWD, while the 1.6L Turbo PHEV makes 261 hp, 258 lb-ft of torque, and 35 MPG combined. (These best the gas engine’s 29 MPG combined.) The Tucson is dependable, has smooth handling, and its excellent fuel efficiency helps save drivers money. The Jeep Grand Cherokee

Also available in 2022 was a 2.0L Turbo PHEV powertrain that got 56 MPGe for each of the Grand Cherokee’s five 4xe trims. 

The Kia Telluride 

Last but not least on this list of popular SUVs to buy used is the Kia Telluride. This three-row midsize SUV is super spacious and has excellent performance, a flexible interior, and an abundance of safety features for your peace of mind. The best part about an SUV is the space it offers, and with the Kia Telluride, there is more than your average cargo and seating capacity.
